Kim Sheehan is known for her light, agile voice and performance style. Over the past twenty years, she has worked with some of the world’s most highly regarded directors, conductors, and choreographers, and has sung on stages across the globe.
Kim’s emerging career as contemporary artist has seen her write and perform with experimental band Second Moon of Winter (Denovali Records). She has also contributed vocals to Floex and Tom Hodge’s A Portrait of John Doe (Decca Records).
During lockdown, Kim created and facilitated Good Vibrations, a highly successful series of voice meditation classes which explored the healing power of vocal resonance and vibration. Good Vibrations featured at the Cork Midsummer Festival 2021 as Power Up Power Down, and won an Opera Bear Award in 2022.
Kim also has an emerging career in writing live performance-based meditation music. Her meditation music project All That is Sound won the Inaugural Jane Anne Rothwell Award in 2020.
